Who You Are: Well, my name is Mike Weeks, I am from a small town in Rhode Island called Portsmouth, I am 48 years old married with 2 boys, 25 and 23 who are out on their own, thank god. I was never really into these little British cars until I met met Alan Fisher of Portsmouth, RI. We worked together. Then one day I was asked if I would like to take a trip with him to pick up a Bugeye he'd purchased on Ebay from a gentleman in Phx, Az. He said we would be meeting up with some people from Houston TX, who had the car now and would meet us in Chatanooga TN. SO....to make a long story short, after Alan and I got his car home, he picked me up in it one day and took me for my first ride in a Bugeye. Needless to say, I hadta have one and after 30 months of total and complete restoration, my "Bloodshot" was re-born. During the summer of 2002 he was shown for the first times and out of the 7 shows attended, he came home with 3 1st place finishes and a 2nd place finish. The 2nd place being! at the "British Ivasion" car show at Stowe VT. Largest ALL British car show on the east coast. Needless to say, I am very pleased and proud to be a part of this community we share. I am looking forward to eventually seeing members off the Spridget List at the different event I am able to attend. I can say this, I have had nothing but great times whenever I go to a show. I guess you know when you really got it bad cause I've just sold my Jet Skis and bought a 72 MGB. Oh well, lif is way too short, gonna have some fun while I'm here!.. See ya on the road
